When I enrolled in Organic Chemistry for the 3rd time, I was feeling like I would never pass the class. I met with Paul virtually and right away, he helped me understand the concepts. Paul was available at night and during the weekends and was always prompt, cheery and knowledgeable; he referenced multiple organic chemistry textbooks during our meetings to make sure I understood everything. Paul would go over every single chapter problem from the textbook and even prepared a practice final exam for me on concepts I was slightly struggling with. Paul was an excellent tutor; he made the atmosphere comfortable (for someone who was ready to give up on science), he was smart (he owns organic chem textbooks), and he was gifted in the way that he could explain the same topic in five different ways in a cheery tone. Needless to say, I passed the class as well as organic chemistry two and this would not have been possible without Paul's help!
I am not quick to catch onto subject mater with my ADD and Vivian was able to keep me focused by having me do the work so I could learn. I needed help with Organic Chemistry with only two lessons I was able to pull my grade up from a C to a A just by following her teaching techniques. If you are looking for someone with patience that is willing to slow down to allow you time to adjust to the material you are learning this is your teacher. Thank You Vivian for sharing your teaching talents on heytutor !!!!
I met Tony when my youngest daughter was struggling with organic chemistry. My first daughter, who is currently a junior in college, is also being tutored by Tony. Tony teaches in a unique and enjoyable manner for every student. I am really glad that my kids are doing well in school and enjoy taking chemistry courses. I believe that I was successful in selecting Tony Mega after seeing the growth and progress that my daughters are making in this difficult class.
First time ever using a tutor and I’m very thankful I did. Kenn was so knowledgeable and never made me feel stupid! Enjoyed the first session, I feel more confident already for my exam in a few days. I wish I thought to do this, and find Kenn, sooner.
Vivian is amazing! She tutored me for Organic Chemistry before the final and I got an A. She was very patient with me and she explained everything in such a simple way that really help me understand the concept. Highly recommend her!
Patrick is amazing at explaining Organic chemistry! He has a great understanding on the subject and does not mind repeating concepts. He will walk you through the problems! Definitely recommend him!
I felt that it was helpful but, I hope that she understands the program better over time as I'd like to be able to save the problems and have some problems to work on over the week to help.
