I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology emphasis in Criminal Justice and double minor in Anthropology and Forensic Science. I also have two Master's degrees; one in High Education and the other in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. I started tutoring in my undergrads where I tutored various students in subject such as biology, social sciences, math and foreign languages. I was also a TA for two year in my undergrads. Since my undergrads I've worked as a crime scene tech, EMT, human services, substitute teacher and an athletic coach; as well as having 17 years of research experience in various subject matter. I do have a background in standardize testing, such as ACT/SAT Prep, GRE, MCAT, LSAT, ASVAB and POST (Police Officer Selection Test). I also speak, write, read and understand Italian, Spanish, French Fluently. I do speak and understand Arabic. I also have a background in music; I have been playing the piano since I was 4, flute and clarinet since I was in high school. I've been singing semi professionally for 14 years. I have online teaching and tutoring experience. I am currently pursuing my PhD. My biggest passion however is teaching, whether its teaching college or being a substitute teacher. I was fortunate to have been taught by some amazing teachers and professors throughout my academic and professional career, because of this I have emulated their teaching style fused with my teaching philosophy to make sure students of all ages are gaining the best education possible.
