I am currently a preschool teacher at a private school. I have been tutoring on and off for over 10 years through a college level. I have tutored for all core classes including: Math, Science (Physical, A&P, Chemistry, Biology), History and English (reading and writing). I worked as an EMT in Downtown Seattle and have helped teach and proctor CPR/First aid and the EMT tests. I have worked with many types of behavioral and learning disabilities.
When Tutoring I think it is important to teach how to study while working on the concepts of difficulty. I believe it is crucial for students to learn in a style most suited to them; auditory, visual or kinesthetic. Using these styles can increase learning and enjoyment of a difficult subject.
