My name is Matthew Lewis, and I am a professional tutor. I charge $55 per hour and have extensive, professional experience helping students from middle school through grad school—as well as adults of all ages—achieve significant gains in all aspects of English including speaking, vocabulary, reading comprehension, academic writing, and literature interpretation.

Additionally, I teach math through algebra 2 and geometry, history, geography, and science.

I am a husband and a father of two children and a professor at Northwest University. I have received several major, academic awards including highest honors for both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and I am presently writing my doctoral dissertation at George Fox University.

Each of my students receive a customized learning plan, face-to-face instruction, and real-time coaching (support by text or email throughout each week) without extra charge. I am a patient and encouraging teacher, and I am always excited to see my students thrive.
