I graduated from Brown University (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Slavic Studies. I am currently finishing my Master's degree in Adolescent Special Education. I have spent the last two years teaching high school math at a special education school in Manhattan. Prior to becoming a teacher, I spent several years as an intensive 1-1 tutor for elementary and middle school students across subjects with a range of needs (executive functioning, emotional regulation, ESL). I am energetic and enjoy fostering positive relationships with the students I work with. I have a flexible schedule and am generally free in the afternoons and evenings, although starting in July, I will also be available in the mornings. Looking forward to connecting and discussing your student's needs and how I can best support them!
