I have a Bachelor's Degree in Russian from the University of Texas at Arlington. I currently teach Honors Russian and History at the High School level. I am also certified to teach Social Studies and Health Education and have taught U.S. History, Ancient World History, and Modern World History. In addition, I have 6 years experience in the private sector working with various translation companies as a free-lance translator as well as a project manager. I have a Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education and am working on finishing my Master's degree in Education. Before college, I lived in the Russian Federation for two years as a missionary for my church. While there I intensively studied the language and even helped and taught native Russians how to speak English. I am married with 2 beautiful daughters that are 5 and 3 years old. I have a deeply rooted passion for teaching and for helping students achieve step by step growth and reach their full potential.
"What is this the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone?"
