My teaching philosophy exemplifies dedication, confidence, and integrity that my students would definitely value as they acquire knowledge during their educational tenure. I certainly appreciate the value of a quality education by being a great asset to my students as they accomplish their educational goals. I believe that each student has the distinguished qualities of becoming pioneers of social change and scholar-practitioner. As an educator, my goal and objective is to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an inviting environment that is cognitive, informative on learning theory, and promoting respect for all things and people. An instructor’s responsibility is to guide, provide theory, and access to information rather than demonstrating as the primary source of information, the student’s learning goals are met as they learn and interact to find answers to their questions. For students to construct knowledge, they need the opportunity to discover for them and practice skills in authentic situations. Equally important to self-discovery is having the opportunity to study things that are meaningful and relevant to one's life and interests.
