My name is Eric Gonzales and I am a dedicated educator who loves working in one-on-one tutoring in the Dallas area and in the classroom with students. I offer a variety of tutoring/ educational services for my students and have been tutoring with great success for over 5 years.
I graduated in 2015 from Rice University in Houston with a Bachelors in Mathematics and Psychology. My goal is not only help students succeed, but also be a positive impact on their lives and goals. I teach all levels of math with high proficiency, including elementary, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB and BC. I teach most other subjects as well including English, college-level Statistics, Economics, Spanish, college-level Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology. I aim to teach the upper and lower level ISEE, the ACT, the new SAT, and other college entrance exams. I scored a 33 out of 36 overall on my ACT with a perfect score in the Math section, and I graduated from Rice University with a 3.4 overall GPA.
I have worked with tutoring companies in LA and Houston, and I worked as a substitute teacher for middle and high school classes at Crossroads School in Los Angeles. I have taught my own classes before in Los Angeles and in Houston. I love working with kids and adults of all ages and I have benefited from experiences with all kinds of learners, including students from top private schools in Houston and Los Angeles, to teaching at Selwyn College Preparatory School right here in Denton, to tutoring military veterans and international students in college courses. Students and parents have expressed great gratitude and overall satisfaction with me as a tutor, which I am very happy for. I am committed to helping students and families reach their academic goals and I truly enjoy my work. I hope to teach test prep and work in any way that I can.
