Nursing career of 15 years. I was a paralegal who changed careers and entered into an accelerated RN to MSN program (3 yr program) in San Francisco, CA in my early 30s. Since then I have worked in clinical research as a nurse, telehealth as an educator, consultant, and speaker. I also am an adjunct clinical professor. By nature, I am a problem solver so I enjoy figuring out what makes you as a student tick (learning style, motivation, and applying it to learning the concepts in nursing).
Current Adjunct Clinical Professor for 1st through 3rd semester students (initial, chronic care and inpatient med/surg/specialty hospital). I am also updated with the latest telehealth virtual technology to teach what tools/resources will be used in the future. My specialties include med/surg (cardiology, kidney, liver, pancreas, orthopedic units, chronic care, and intro semester into nursing). I have experience with Test-Taking Skills, Fundamentals, Professional-Legal, Pharmacology, Research, Health Assessment, Leadership, Critical Thinking, BSN, MSN, 15+ years Nursing Experience, 10+ years Health/Business/Workflows
I stay up to date with NCLEX style questions and the new categories of questions that are added.
