Warm greetings from Kerry! I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Systems Engineering and Computer Science, and a minor in Math. While I excelled in my classes, I also shone as an Engineering mentor, President of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society, and a proud member of a Sorority. Some of my most enjoyable moments on top of excelling in the materials have been going through drills of the lessons on my own free time just to test my mastery. I challenge my students to do the same. While you cannot teach passion, you can indeed open an appetite to the subject and spark a lasting interest that will enervate passion. Let me enervate your passion to master the subject and dig deeper. I customize lesson plans to help students of all ages find the link to understand the problem, solutions, and their higher level applications.
Educated at Howard University like our current Vice President, I immediately pursued my NYU Masters in Computer Science, immediately followed by a full-time career as a Software Engineer while pursuing my MBA from University of Maryland. After 4 years working full-time I returned to school to pursue my PhD in Technology Management from NYU. As an excellent programmer engineer with years of industry experience, I never stopped directly tutoring computers and math along the way to students from age 4 through 65. I also have classroom experience teaching undergraduate and graduate college students mostly ages 18 to 30 while teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Northern Virginia Community College (2005), New York University (2010-2012), and Howard University (2015-2017).
I am a passionate and compassionate tutor with decades of experience who is ready to help you excel. Are you tired of spending hours trying to understand something to no avail? Are you ready to reach your potential? Look no further. It will be my pleasure to help you to reach and surpass your expectations! Do not hesitate to contact me today with your questions, comments, or concerns. I welcome it!
I love to tutor Computer Science, Algebra, Elementary Math, Systems Engineering, MBA courses, GED, PRAXIS….just to name a few
