My name is John. I am a math tutor for grades 6-12 who worked as a Special Education Math teacher at NYC DOE for 5 years. Although I loved my job as a teacher, I needed more flexibility in my schedule to be able to help my wife with homeschooling our children and spend more time as a family. I continue to teach children by tutoring and helping kids with math.
A little more about my background is that I have a masters degree in education and I am certified 7-12 grade teacher with a professional teaching license. I am also certified in special ed.
