I am Janet Caraballo and I have over 20 years of work experience within the education, healthcare, law enforcement and retail industry. I have had the opportunity to work as a reading tutor for students in grades 1-6 at the Edison Learning Program. I have worked as a vocational counselor for juveniles in the penitentiary system. I was also a Parent Coordinator for NYC Early Intervention Program and Safari East, Inc. I have a passion for helping children to reach their educational milestones and full potential. Recently, I retired from the NYPD where I worked as the Assistant to the Operations Coordinator. I am currently utilizing my Life Coaching skills to help students in middle school and High School to set up a plan made up of short and long term goals, resume, vision board and managing their time, schedules and teaching them how to job search and implement interview skills. My Life Coaching consists of healthy and positive lifestyle training. I am an entrepreneur and since 2003 have had various online based reselling businesses. In 2015 I started my own Mobile thriftshop business and it's called Emergency Mobile Thrift Shop. In my coaching I add a worksheet of helpful strategies regarding starting a home-based small business. I am looking forward to helping children of all ages in the subjects of reading and language arts and mentoring them as a Life Coach.
