I am a patient, compassionate, culturally sensitive, and highly qualified teacher/tutor. I would love to help you have a successful school year and pass your classes.
I believe tutoring is about establishing a professional relationship in which I can help you be successful in learning the content but also help with social-emotional growth through positive mentoring experiences. I am flexible in hours, very reliable, and driven to help others succeed.

I am a NYS Certified Social Studies Teacher with 3 years full time experience teaching US History Regents classes, Civics and other subjects at New Dawn Charter High School. This year I developed remote instruction lessons and taught 9-12 graders history through zoom and our school's online teaching and grading platform. I strive to make learning fun for students to help you find enriching connections with history, reading, and writing, and develop study skills in an exciting and accessible way. I have taught students of diverse cultures, intellectual abilities, and interests.

Additionally I tutored college students at SUNY Oneonta through the Education Opportunity Program in various subjects: US History, Global studies, psychology, sociology,reading, writing, humanities, research and study skills.
