I've been tutoring for over 7 years, and have worked with students for over 10 years. I do tutor in math up to high school. I also tutor elementary students in ELA and math. I do NYS test prep and regents prep for math (geometry and algebra). I live in Brooklyn and am willing to travel to students. I also offer tutoring in my home as well on the weekends, as I find it easier to tutor outside of the student's home. Usually if a student is in their home, they can be distracted easily. In my house, I make sure that there are no distractions. However, I'm not against tutoring in a student's home, or at the library. I just ask that wherever we tutor, it is somewhere quiet with minimal distractions. I also ask that students do NOT use their phones during our sessions unless absolutely necessary (like if they need to contact a family member or vice versa).
