I earned a teaching certification in middle and high school mathematics from the Massachusetts Department of Education. I have experience teaching pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus in public grade school. I also have acquired substantial experience teaching elementary school level mathematics to students in grades 2 through 7 as an instructor at a local Mathnasium(TM) learning center.
Several years ago, I founded a company that developed a web-based automated math tutoring application designed to help high school students pass standardized math tests required for high school graduation (like New Jersey's HSPA and Pennsylvania's PSSA). This application was widely lauded by School of Education faculty at leading universities.
Beyond that, I now teach business, research & data analysis, and marketing courses as an adjunct professor at local colleges.

I am taking a data modeling statistics course online and was doing well following the material in the first few weeks. However, I quickly became lost & overwhelmed right before the midterm. Jonathan was able to meet with me on short notice for A total of 4 hours over weekend. I was ready to jump right into some problems but he focused first on some foundational items which was really useful in increasing my understand of the subject matter.
