Italian and Spanish tutor

About Carmela

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated Italian tutor. Regardless of my young age, I consider myself an ideal candidate for this position. I was raised and studied almost my whole life in a town located in the center of Italy, in the region of Molise. I was always interested in classical studies and literature. I also grew up speaking Spanish as a first language due to the fact that I was born in Cuba and one of my parents is Cuban. While living in Italy, I specialized and studied French for four years. Approximately three years ago, I moved to the United States and learned English.
In those three years that I spent in the US, I participated to several poetry contests at different Universities. I won for two consecutive years the First Place in the category of Italian Native Speaker.
My educational background has prepared me for the role of an Italian Tutor. In particular, my study of Italian literature has given me a solid amount of knowledge in the subject. I am eager to contribute my enthusiasm and up-to-date skills with students that are ready to learn and expand their minds. I look forward to persue a carreer in the world of languages and I am planning in studying abroad at Sapienza University of Rome next year.
I enjoy learning from different cultures and teaching others my own.
