I am a 4th year undergraduate at Wake Forest University pursuing a dual MD/PhD in Neuroscience. I have spent my time researching for neurosurgeons, working at the hospital, and studying internationally in Copenhagen, Denmark to gain a deeper understanding on how healthcare varies universally. Studying abroad has taught me more than cultural awareness, but has given me new ways to learn. I hope to be able to utilize the knowledge I gained from both my academic and professional experience in the science field to students who are excited to learn more and go into depth about biology, chemistry, physics and other medically relevant courses.
Aside from the sciences, I grew up bilingual as my home language was Polish. In University I also had the opportunity to study German for 4 intensive semesters, thus I believe I have the expertise to tutor students in language as well.
Lastly, my favorite hobby has been playing classical piano and studying music since I was 6 years old. I continue to perform and practice pieces by masters such as Chopin, Beethoven, Liszt, Rachmaninov and study music theory. To students interested in pursuing music or learning how to play the piano, I would be more than happy to share my passion with you!
