I obtained my Masters in Teaching at American University in 2011. I went on to become a high school mathematics teacher in Washington, DC from 2010-2015. During this time I also regularly tutored students who came to me for extra help. After teaching for 5 years I went back to school to complete a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program while continuing to tutor students on occasion. I am currently a pharmacy student at the Medical College of Wisconsin but am taking a leave of absence and have relocated Chapel Hill, NC. I am spending this time using my experience as a teacher and tutor to work with students individually. In the current climate, I recognize that students may need some extra individual help due to the closure of many schools and I have made myself available as an online tutor due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Most recently I have been tutoring Geometry and Pre-Calculus. I have professional experience teaching/tutoring in the following areas: Middle school, high school, and college-level: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus. I I enjoy working with students of all ages and helping them better understand difficult topics in math. I have also helped students in physics, anatomy, biochemistry and am available to tutor other content areas as well.
