About Erica

Hey! I'm Erica. I am a graduate of Bowie State University. I worked as nurse on a Bone Marrow Transplant IMC unit at Johns Hopkins for 8 years. Five years were spend on the BMT unit and 3 years were spent behind the scenes planning transplants as a Nurse Coordinator.

I don't have actual tutoring experience. However, I have 6 years of precepting experience. I precepted new nurses often while on the transplant unit. Precepting is hands on which is different from tutoring. However, my patience, commitment, compassion and knowledge remain the same.

I plan to cater my teaching style to you. Upon first meeting, we can establish how you learn best. From there, I can cater teaching materials and lessons to your learning style. We can determine what your strengths and weaknesses are as well as what you are struggling with specifically. That way, I can target exactly what you need.
