About Serenah

I grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. I attended Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland. I went on to get my B.S. in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University with a minor in Chinese and I am now a structural engineer in Baltimore, Maryland with my engineer in training certificate.
It is my belief that every student has their own optimal way of learning that is unique to them and so with that I believe that there is no concept that someone cannot learn. After explaining a concept, by paying close attention to the questions the student is asking, comments they're making, patterns in mistakes, and so on, you can get a grasp of what exactly the student is and isn't understanding and alter the teaching style accordingly to accommodate their most optimal way of learning. That is what I plan to do.
