I am an experienced educator with 30+ years of international experience in foreign language education, academic coaching and learning disability correction programs. My interest in language studies began in Madrid, Spain where I lived and worked for ten years in several international schools and corporations. Subsequently, I became interested in helping students overcome learning disabilities to remove any obstacles to their academic and professional success. In 2007 I began studying brain based learning approaches and have designed hundreds of programs to help students achieve their highest potential. In addition to instruction in Spanish and English, I also offer customized programs in study skills, time management and organization strategies, note-taking, memory techniques and self-advocacy. These programs help students with various learning challenges such as dyslexia, ADD, ADHD and executive function disorder. I also conduct learning profiles and career placement assessments for teens and adults. I believe that all students can achieve success with the right strategies and support. I have helped hundreds of students and have a proven track record of success.
