I got my Bachelor's in Painting with a Minor in Psychology at Salem State University and my Master's in Visual Arts from New Hampshire Institute of Art. I am a positive and kind teacher that believes you just need to find a connection to yourself in the material for it to become interesting. I have been in situations where and I HATED what I was learning, but I had to suck it up and make it work. It's not easy but you have to just try and make it fun. During my time at SSU, I was given a lot of training in the more traditional forms of art like painting and drawing, which became my main working medium. While I was at NHIA, I had to look heavily into modernism and critical theory of what it mean to make art. I've realized that what I want most is to bring all of the information I've learned to more people so that they can understand the art world and it's history the way I did.
