I'm a bilingual (English and Spanish) saxophone player and jazz composer from Panama living in Boston for 5 years.
Growing up among educators was my greater gift. Experiencing education from an early age leaded me to understand how teaching is an art of patience, where the student as well as the educator discover new horizons.
I have always liked to work paying close attention to my student's strengths and weaknesses. Developing methods and practice routines specially made for the student's necessities and capabilities.
My priorities when teaching or performing are: quality of sound, phrasing, and lyricism. All of these elements are crucial to me for improvisation or when interpreting a piece of music.
As my student, you would develop a rich sound, great sense of melody, different approaches to improvisation, and many more skills. Always having as my main goal to help you achieve your maximum potential.
