Hello future student and friend! My name is Sam Bluemer, and I am so excited at the prospect of meeting you. As a recent college and graduate school student, I understand what the current learning environment is like and what tools students need to be successful today.
I have mentored three university students through internships in my current role as the Energy & Conservation Specialist for Will County, IL. All three of my mentees have graduated at the top of their class and have been offered employment immediately following graduation. I also
I have tutored countless subjects from algebra to creative writing. Communications, writing, business, finance, algebra, 101-301 high school Spanish, ethics, environmental science, and law & policy (social studies) are some of my favorite subjects to tutor and teach.
Although I may not have years of professional experience behind me, I was offered my first job out of college before graduation, and have graduated to a senior-level position in only 2 years. I know what it takes to be a successful student, and I know what it takes to build real-world skills that prepare students for the ultimate objective of receiving an education: employment!
I believe students today struggle with classroom success because educators cannot relate to the modern learning style of today's students. If you've had trouble piercing the veil of success in academia, let me use my unique teaching approach to customize how you learn and succeed. There is no one size fits all.
Please note, I could bore you with a litany of fancy awards and prestigious speaking engagements, but this isn't about me, it's about you. Now let's do this!
