Based on many years of practice experience, including LSAT review tutoring, I believe that
tutoring for the LSAT should focus on test strategies: the types of questions, analytical approaches and, most importantly, practice test-taking under time constraints - with review/discussion/coaching with the student on specific ways to improve.
GOAL – REVIEW AND PRACTICE ALL FOUR MAJOR SECTIONS OF LSAT: 1. LOGICAL REASONING; 2. READING COMPREHENSION; 3. ANALYTICAL REASONING; 4. LOGICAL REASONING (SECTION 4 IS SIMILAR TO SECTION 1). THE WRITING SAMPLE PORTION WILL ALSO BE COVERED.
1. Sessions will cover timed practice exams using prior LSAT exams covering: Reading Comprehension; Analytical Reasoning; Logical Reasoning; Writing Example; and full-exam practice.
2. Results of each practice exam will be analyzed and discussed with the student to improve results.
3. General test-taking strategies for the LSAT will also be covered.
