I have worked as a tutor for STEM related subjects since 2013 and have also taught neuroscience as an instructor for Duke TIP.
As a tutor I taught multiple math and science subjects varying from Linear Algebra to Python based physics classes. As a tutor not only do I work to bridge a knowledge gap between the professor and the students, but I also work as a facilitator to provide students with the tools to improve their learning process. This includes but is not limited to understanding student's specific learning styles, encouraging multiple forms of learning, and enforcing peer based learning where students work together to mutually increase understanding (as feasible).
