I have bachelor's degrees from the University of Miami in both mathematics and psychology, as well as extensive tutoring experience in a variety of fields. Starting as a teacher’s assistant in high school, I began tutoring for the AP Biology test. Since then, I have branched out and tutored everything from increasingly popular college-entrance exams to more nuanced areas in mathematics. I have helped students learn to analyze literature, transform polynomials, and grasp mitosis.
Having graduated with a major in both mathematics and psychology, my understanding of mathematical concepts delves further than most, and my exposure to psychology has provided me with the ability to better personalize instruction for each individual student. I am passionate about the intricacies of the subject, and I feel that through this fascination I can better relay concepts and skills that so many students struggle in. Too many students who have the aptitude to do well end up not excelling because concepts are not fortified with relevant information, I am confident that my experience both academically and practically can help any student tackle this problem.
