As a trained special educator, I believe each child learns their own way. My job Is to figure out how your child learns best and build a relationship to ensure a growtth. I like to implement long lasting strategies, use interactive games, and hands-on manipulatives to keep learners engaged. I have 10+ years of experience as a special education teacher in Boston public schools. There, I ran small learning groups in reading, writing, and math. Addtionally, I wrote academic evaluations with suggested recommendations and tracked progress. I also have a certification in teaching reading to dyslexic children and adullts. My goal to bring energy, personality, and enthusiasm to a each lesson so your child is waiting for me to return with new strategies and learning activities. Together we can form a partnership to decrease frustration, build confidence, and focus on continued elevation.
