I started tutoring when my HS math teacher realized how I turned from an F student to an A+ by understanding how I learned. She sent me my first student (for pay) and the rest is history.
I am a Certified Elementary School Teacher (K-6), with a Masters Degree in Education. I specialize in working with children that learn differently. I have over 25-years of tutoring experience. I am currently a full time ESE teacher.
I recognize that we are all unique beings. Through understanding who my student is, I am able to help. It is not just about teaching the subject matter, it is mostly about finding the strengths and understanding how he or she learns. I strive to empower my students so they become lifelong successful students.
