As a prior Adjunct Instructor in the Sciences, I have developed a passion and personal commitment to helping my students succeed. As a onetime high school educator, I feel I can meet the diversity of any group of students. I feel that my background as a research scientist, financial advisor, manager, and educator is a perfect match for helping a student achieve his or her goals.

In my teaching position(s), I developed highly effective lesson plans, motivational exercises, and performance assessments. I've helped improve test scores, and have received positive feedback from parents, fellow educators and students alike for my abilities in the classroom. My teaching style demonstrates dedication to fostering a positive learning environment to all students and maximizing individual student performance. The accomplishment I'm most proud of in my teaching career is motivating the underrepresented student to excel in courses and to believe in their capabilities. I am confident that my background and relevant experience will be an asset to you.

I have a strong science background, a passion for the written word, and a love of mathematics. I believe that comes forth in my teaching. There is very little knowledge I don’t feel is important.
