Over my 10+ years of teaching French and about Francophone literatures and cultures, I have had opportunities to teach both in secondary education (9-12 graders) and at colleges and universities (undergraduate and graduate students) offering elementary, intermediate, and advanced classes, including advanced grammar, conversation, and composition. Having also taught AP French, I helped high school juniors and seniors prepare for the AP French Language and Culture exam. Additionally, I have tutored high school and university students as well as working professionals in French, specifically helping them discover how they learn best. Since every learner is different (e.g., visual vs. auditory vs. hands-on learners), I make it a point to work with each student to identify the study skills that best match their learning style. Finally, having taught in Japan (English conversation), France (English conversation), and in the U.S. (French), I love working with students of diverse backgrounds!
