I have a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Education. With more than three years of experience in the classroom, I specialize in helping students find their voices and excel in the writing process in a fun and relaxed manner. I know writing can be daunting for some people. It is for me, too. But when approached in the right manner, I have seen students of all skill levels write papers of top quality. I also have extensive experience helping students with with the English and Reading sections on the ACT; the Reading, Writing, and optional Essay section of the SAT; and the multiple-choice and essay sections on the AP English language exam. When I was in school, I dreaded standardized tests. But test-taking is a skill that can be taught. I was able to turn myself into a skilled test taker through practice, and I love the chance to help students do the same. So, whether it's analyzing a complex piece of literature in order to write an A-level paper or building your skills in multiple-choice exams, I can help you to achieve your goals.
