Hi! I have a Master's degree in engineering, and I am willing to help you with math and computer science.
I have been tutoring math in a public library for one year, and I love to work with students. My students range from 5th grade to 9th grade, and I design different materials for them to learn or practice. During my tutoring sessions, my students are always excited to learn new things, because I am good at designing games in which math concepts are used. Real world examples are often used in my sessions, so that students know why they need to learn math and where math can be applied. When I was in school, I often helped my classmates with math homework and problems. They could always get clear explanation from me.
I have five years of coding experience in a software company. I am familiar with most commonly used algorithms (like sorting) and data structures (like trees). I have also volunteered in a Computer Science class for one year, where I taught students debugging skills and helped them solve coding problems.
In addition, I am in the middle of a teaching credential program, in which I have learned many teaching strategies, like inspiring students and improving students' other skills (like reading and writing) in a math class.
