I have recently retired from a career in engineering and high-tech management in the Bay Area. My in-depth math background comes from Russia, where I graduated first from an elite math-focused high school and then from a top technical university. Throughout schooling, I participated and placed in numerous problem solving competitions.
I used to tutor during my college years and want to reignite my passion for teaching. I believe that a high SAT or ACT score is not just about memorizing formulas but more about critical reasoning skills. That's what math is all about.
