In December 2016, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master’s degree in the French Language. For more than ten years, I have had an enriching experience in teaching and tutoring beginning and intermediate French courses in Preschool, School, University and Foreign language institutes. I have taught the French language to students with learning and intellectual disabilities, and also to exchange students from different countries like China, England, and Canada at the University of Oklahoma. As an instructor, I have had a thorough experience in teaching of physical and online courses through different learning technologies like Desire2Learn (D2L), Canvas, Vista Higher Learning system, and Edgenuity. As a teacher and a trilingual speaker, I can totally understand all the challenges students face in learning a new language and adjusting to a new culture. I have found teaching foreign languages very rewarding and it is my goal to put my energies in creating a dialogue with the students, helping them overcome their speaking anxiety and creating a student-centered class. As a native Farsi speaker, I can teach and tutor Farsi language too.
