I'm currently a Political Science student who's on pace to graduate this year. I've been tutoring for the last 4 years for both Community College and University level students, but I love tutoring those of all ages! I have an expansive understanding of Politics, History, Social Sciences, and American Sign Langauge which has been honed through tutoring. I believe the best way to tutor is to build an understanding of the subject and why it is important rather than to regurgitate facts or signs. Through understanding the subjects, my tutorees will preform better in their classes as well as any Advanced Placement testing (for High School). Patience is a key aspect of my tutoring style as well as warmth since I believe both are needed to create a calming environment to learn. As I help guide you to understand your subject, not only will you feel more confident in your subject, but you will take away skills which will help in other subjects.
