I have a BS in Biochemistry & Cell Biology and a MS in Quantitative Biology from UCSD. My knowledge expertise is in chemistry (especially organic chemistry) and the physical biology of a cell, including quantitative aspects like biochemistry, biophysics, and bioengineering. In tutoring, I've been developing and teaching individual-specific curricula, lessons, and practice problems for my students for the past 4 years, particularly in high school- and college-level chemistry and biology. I have also prepared lessons and problems for real college courses, as well as written and graded exam problems.
My goal here is to help you learn the necessary steps to apply an appropriate level of critical, analytical thinking in a timely manner. This "appropriate level" would be tailored to your own, personal goals, whether it is to set the curve in your class or to just pass--or even to simply feel confident in a subject for your future career, regardless of your grade.
If my chemistry/biology focus and flexibility in teaching style interest you, feel free to reach out to me for more info!
