I have been tutoring in LA for the past five years focusing primarily on high school and college math. I am a graduate of Occidental College. I received my BA in Theatre, but I actually began my college studies in biology at Caltech. My passion for arts and sciences allows me to connect with students with diverse interests. I am most passionate about tutoring math and science, because I think that too many students are told that they're hard or not fun. In my sessions, I always try to relate what we're learning back to something my student is interested in. I really enjoy sharing my love for learning, and I always make sure to keep it fun and informative. I pride myself on being able to explain concepts in multiple ways, and I'm patient in making sure each student understands the material. Outside of tutoring, I have directed several plays and a feature film. In my spare time, I like to bake bread, read, knit, and play with my cats.
