Hello! My name is Lina and I recently graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in anthropology. Even though I focused on a social major, it was incorporated with entry level science courses. I have always had a passion in the sciences and helping others when it comes to studies. I have a year experience in tutoring a teenager individually, and 6 years experience in working with elementary-aged students, as well as youth, through community service. My mission is to provide the best of study tactics and support for my students, achieving the goals they want. In learning and understanding material, it is best to learn based on your own study techniques, something I am able to incorporate and be flexible with when tutoring. In addition to tutoring, I am also able to utilize personal study skills/methods I've learned from UCLA during our sessions, as well as provide general advice on high school/college courses and applications.
