Hi, I'm Rebekah! I graduated from UCLA summa cum laude with a BA in English literature and a minor in professional writing. I've tutored professionally for two years in LACC's writing center.
In addition to tutoring, I work with a foster child as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. I truly enjoy developing close, personal relationships with those in need of help—be it academically or emotionally. I spent two years leading writing workshops for senior citizens in memory care facilities, creating games and exercises to help my students express themselves through the written word. Humor and genuine connection are important values in my teaching and tutoring.
I come from a big family—I have three brothers— and I am an animal lover. I'm also a published writer; you can read my work in Los Angeles Magazine, Trillmag.com, and MAD Magazine. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
