I'm Isabella, a Columbia University senior in Los Angeles for the school year. I approach difficult school subjects by making them comfortable, engaging, and fun. I make the sessions filled with quality time, and I ask that the students do, too. I have experience as a teacher's assistant in pre-K to fourth grade classrooms in Spanish, English, mostly reading and writing. Before that, I tutored middle schoolers and high schoolers in Math from pre-Algebra, basic sciences, and history. I edit essays in college, including academic papers, and I come to each session prepared to learn myself. I love working out concepts with students in personalized ways, and I have enormous patience for behavioral difficulties. Every student deserves to be on track!
