I have worked as a tutor for a national test prep company for three years preparing students for the PSAT, SAT, ACT, and SSAT, and related subjects. My tutees have gained admission to various elite colleges and universities, including UC Berkeley, NYU, University of Hawaii, UCSB, and the U.S. Armed Forces.
I have taken the SAT numerous times as part of my training to become a tutor. In so doing, I have received a perfect score on the Writing section and a 760 on the Verbal section twice.
I am a native Spanish-speaker, and I studied three years of German at the college level. I also lived in Israel for three years, as a result of which I speak, read, and write Hebrew.
I received a score of 5 on both the AP English Literature and U.S. Government exams.
Importantly, I have had to apply myself assiduously to achieve these results, benefitting greatly from both private tutors and various study guides in the process. Put simply, I sympathize with most students taking standardized exams, learning foreign languages, and drafting college admissions statements, and can help them accordingly.
