First off thank you for looking into my HeyTutor profile!
I am currently working on my two Bachelors in both Biological Science and Public Health Policy at the University of California, Irvine. I have been tutoring students off and on since my days in high school, and have carried and sharpened my abilities throughout university.
I believe that an education goes far beyond the classroom, and being a successful student is far more than succeeding in simply school. Time management and effective study skills are key to a child's opportunities in getting into competitive universities as well as ensuring that the student is doing well enough in school they are able to be involved and enjoy the once in a life time opportunities youth provides them and find who they are and what they enjoy as a person. Throughout my high school and college career I have been extremely involved and went to national competitions in speech and debate, Future Business Leaders of America, as well as have countless hours of volunteer hours at hospitals, hospice care, and areas in the community through my Boy Scouts troop.
I currently tutor multiple classes at an academy for both high school students preparing for the SAT as well as elementary and middle school students on general homework. By tutoring students of all ages, I have learned the best way to efficiently and effectively work with a child to bring them to new heights of greatness. I know that not all students are the same, and have made it a personal challenge of mine to assist any student no matter his or her needs.
