It sounds crazy, but it is the journey that all great writers take.

A little bit about your guide: I graduated from UC Irvine with Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Spanish. After graduating, I received my certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language, and off I went to South Korea. I spent two years there teaching English to students ages 3-16 before returning home to attend graduate school in Linguistics. While in my program, I started private tutoring specifically in writing, especially for academic research papers. Through this experience my love for writing really took its hold on my soul, one that seems will never let go! I was originally going to become an English teacher, but my life journey brought me to being a writer, so here I am! I write about emotional intelligence and personal development, and tutor writing to high school and college students, to make the "jump" from lower level to college academic writing and reading. I have helped many students develop their unique writing style throughout my 5+years of teaching and tutoring-- writing college application essays, writing for standardized tests, undergraduate level research papers, and thesis papers for graduate programs. My students have gained admission to prestigious schools like UCLA and USC. But most importantly, they learn the invaluable lifelong skills of critical thinking and strategic self-expression, so they can navigate this world of endless possibilities.
