Hi my name is Lana. Why do I love teaching, well I love it because of the kids and seeing them grow. When a student is having trouble with a concept and you see when it “clicks”. I love seeing how creative they can be. I started my teaching career was part of an ROP regional occupation program, the class room I was assigned was group of third graders. In this class the lessons I taught a lesson where the students did salad spinner art in relation to Charlottes Web. After that school year ended I attended the Academy of Art University and studied multimedia communications. I then attended the International TEFL Academy in Leon Nicaragua and received my certification to teach English as a second language. Then I moved to Segovia Spain where I taught ages 3 years old to adults. My favorite of course was my youngest class of 3 and 5 year olds. Still to today my favorite lesson was when we did the Alphabet Easter egg scavenger hunt.
