I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communicating Japanese Language and Culture Through Film. Last summer and in fall of 2018, I had the opportunity of studying abroad to Japan. In the summer I studied for two months in Tokyo, Japan, taking a course in Japanese Language. In the fall, I continued to take Japanese classes, as well as courses in Culture, Media, and Japanese Tea Ceremony. Students who are interested in learning Japanese may find it difficult, (as there are three categories that students need to know; Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji). Through fun activities and different styles of learning these categories, I hope to find that students will enjoy learning Japanese.
