Hi! I'm Mariam, and I've been tutoring students of all ages since I was 15. I just graduated from Harvard University where I received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics. I'm now a software engineer at a large tech company in Los Angeles.
I'm passionate about teaching, learning, computer science, math, and literature. Although I have the most experience tutoring in math and CS, I'm also very comfortable tutoring in English and essay writing (including those for college applications!). I hope to share my love of knowledge with you and help you to become a confident, successful, and independent learner.
As for my experience with math, I've tutored students in levels ranging from elementary mathematics to SAT/ACT test prep to college calculus. As for computer science, I'm proficient in a large number of languages including C, C++, Java, Python, OCaml, Erlang, SQL, Javascript, and PHP.
