I've worked in linguistics and second-language acquisition since 2009, both in developing curricula for online ESL firms and developing my own language-learning application (on Google Play). I've also spoken Spanish for at least 20 years (CEFR C2) and Mandarin for at least 7 (CEFR C1). I've taught hundreds of students in that time, and the curricula I've developed in consulting and in-house roles have reached thousands.
Naturally, as a result of developing applications, I've become proficient in many areas of Python and JavaScript coding. As it relates to Python, that includes NLP, data management, web scraping, and more. As for JavaScript, I've used it with HTML/CSS to develop frontends for multiplatform applications.
I've spent the last few years tutoring students in formal logic, as well. This includes everything from introductory logic (propositional logic and first-order logic), to intensional logics (modal logics), to proof and model theory (e.g., soundness and completeness theorems).
