I started off as a babysitter, then became a behavioral technician. In this field I work with children who have autism. I enjoy working with kids and it gives tremendous satisfaction when I watch a child learn and grow. No child is the same so not every child learns the same. I enjoy finding what clicks for the child and giving them the 1:1 attention that they might need.

I’m a Masters level Clinical Mental Health Counselor currently employed part-time in an elementary school where I work as a counselor and classroom substitute teacher. I have 3 elementary school aged children who I homeschooled during the pandemic when school went remote. I have many years experience as not only a counselor working with children, but also as a teacher.

I graduated from Presentation College with my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.
