I am just starting out as a tutor and I hope I can make a good impact. I graduated with a BA in Psychology a few years ago, and have since had a few different jobs. When I came across this opportunity recently, I was excited to have a chance to be back in a classroom setting since my time as a student, which seems like the very distant past. No matter what, I am grateful for this experience.

I have a passion with teaching various of subjects like english, math and history. I am dedicated to teaching anything that students are having trouble with and showing them step by step on how to solve a problem, write an essay or just helping out with any homework. I am attentive and patient to any student that needs help with an exam, homework or anything that the student needs help with.

Why choose between passions? I have a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with branches in U.S. Constitution, Immigration Law, International Organizations, and plenty more. I volunteered for political campaigns during my early 20s. I have also always enjoyed painting and arts and crafts, so I studied visual arts which allowed me to continue creating art as an adult.

I have been nurse assistant for 4 years . Just graduated Medical Assistant program. I’ve additionally been trained specifically for behaviors with kids and adults of autism spectrum. I enjoy teaching arts, sensory, PE, gardening and life success lessons. My passion is to help them one day be independent in their decisions for a successful healthy and well being life.

I am a seasoned tutor with my master's in General Psychology and Substance Abuse Counseling. Currently, while working underneath my supervisor, I run varied groups in a psychiatric inpatient facility. My interest in tutoring and helping students stems from a group I co-ran for patient's who wished to acquire their high school diploma through TASC testing.

I assure you that we will find a way for you to grasp anything you may be struggling with, we just have to figure out how you learn best. I am always open to questions and repeating any lessons to help you be prepared. I have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from California State University, Los Angeles. I have 2 years of experience in tutoring students ranging from first to sixth grade. My mission is to help underserved students stay on grade level, despite past or present factors in society. i.e. pandemic, fire, homelessness in neighborhoods, fear of gun violence, family along with tutoring will make a successful outcome for our students.

I am obtaining an Associates degree in the upcoming spring, I have experience tutoring children from ages 5-12. I love helping children understand mathematics and English. I take them step by step and encourage them to ask questions whenever they have any.
